The CEO of the Loud Silence TV Media, Kelvin Taylor has appealed to the Financial Minister to resign from his position on health grounds. Speaking on his Loud Silence TV Show, the social activist who alleged that Mr. Ken Ofori-Atta has just undergone a kidney transplant and as a result, the Health Minister is suffering from some complications, added that, given how stressful the work of the Ministry is, it is not advisable for Ken Ofori-Atta to still be at post.
He said this following a report that made round that the Financial Minister has resigned from his post on health grounds. The Financial Ministry however issued a press release to rubbish the claims. In a letter signed by the public relations officer of the Ministry, the Ministry advised the public to disregard the rumors, and that the Finance Minister was at the post.
It will be recalled that Ghanaians raised concerns about the looks of Mr. Ken Ofori-Atta some weeks ago when a picture of him looking pale surfaced online. Ken Ofori-Atta who was treated for coronavirus, was presumed by many to be suffering from complications of the treatment of the deadly disease.
Kelvin Taylor, therefore, said he was baffled at why the Minister will still hold unto his post when to him, he doesn't have the strength to do so. "What at all can Ghana do for you. You have done your part as an individual, as a human being. Let this go, and go take care of yourself, it is as simple as that. I don't understand. The job you have taken upon yourself is very stressful. Your condition now, is not advisable to be taking this stress and be trying to treat yourself", he said.
