As the fight part of the fight against coronavirus, institutional disinfecting through Fumigation as carried out by District Assemblies constitute to creating conducive and healthy environment for working during this covid era.
In view of this, South Tongu District Assembly embarks on an intensive disinfection across the district to ensure safety in the district. South Tongu last records seven 7 new cases out of forty 40 people who were tested at the District Health and is putting massive Mesures in place to curb the rise of the virus in the district.
Markets, Schools, Hospitals and other institutional structures across the district were disinfected.
Thursday 4th February, 2021, The team visited the Sogakope District Police Headquarters and carried out a vigorous Fumigation in line with disinfecting the Police Headquarters to create a good working environment for the Police. Police Stations Under the command of the said Headquarters were also disinfected by the Fumigation team deployed by the South Tongu District Assembly.
