His Acceptance Of Guilt Shows That There Is Something Fishy - Dr. Thomas Anaba Boldly Declares

The Executive Director for African Center for Health Policy Research and Analysis, Dr. Thomas Anaba, has indicated that the Minister of Health, Kwaku Agyeman Manu's acceptance of guilt of breaching the procurement process for the purchase of the Sputnik v vaccines shows that there is something fishy.

Dr. Thomas Anaba made this assertion on the 'THE BIG ISSUE' on CITI television when he gave his opinion on the fallout of the Health Minister's testimony.

According to Dr. Thomas, what is the process of dealing with someone who accepts guilt of stepping outside the procurement policies using emergency as an excuse when he has passed laws and bills within one day at Parliament using the same emergency procedures?

He indicated that we know we are in an emergency, that's why the over one billion dollars for covid-19 vaccines was approved within one day, so the Health Minister's own for over six hundred million could have been passed within one hour.

"The Health Minister's acceptance of guilt shows that there is something fishy. When there is something fishy, and we've all agreed that he has erred, he must be punished. What is the punishment for a corrupt minister? We need to know it. We shouldn't be looking at how difficult it will be to remove him from his position."

He added that our procurement laws need to be respected even during an emergency. He thinks Kwaku Agyeman Manu has erred, so he must be punished to serve as a deterrent to others.
