Jinjinabani community in the Nanumba north municipal of the Northern region is to be vaccinated against the deadly coronavirus infection.
A team consisting of the chief, a pastor, and other representatives from the community were selected to discuss the issue of coronavirus and its injections at Bincheratanga.
The CRS together with the doctors in the area talks to the opinion leaders about the deadly virus and the only way to overcome it is through vaccination.
They cleared the minds of the residents who do believe that one will become impotent and die young if he or she is vaccinated with the coronavirus vaccine.
Two nurses took the injections at the spot for the residents to testify that the injection is not bad as perceived by others.
Afterward, some opinion leaders of the community also took the injection to set an example for the other members to be vaccinated.
However, the vaccines were few but they have promised to come back to the community on Monday 12th July 2021 to vaccinate the whole Community.
