The government of Ghana in collaboration with the ministry of health have put all hands on deck to help fight against the Covid19 pandemic which has unexpectedly done more harm than good since the country recorded its first positive case on March 2020.

With respect to this, there has been several Covid19 protocols, vaccines and various measures implemented by the incumbent government to help curb the spread of the second phase of the deadly Covid19 disease.

Surprisingly, the introduction of the Covid19 vaccines have made significant impact over the past couple of months since Ghana took the first batch of the vaccines as the President is looking forward to receive the second batch of the Covid19 vaccines to help reduce the spread of the deadly virus.

However, a recent update from the ministry of health has proven that, there has been certain rumors circulating across the various social media platforms concerning an alleged purchase of overpriced Sputnik V Vaccines through middlemen which the government has come out to urge Ghanaians to disregard such false information from the public.

Below is a look at the recent press release from the ministry of health addressing the alarming issue.

Do you think the government is ready to purchase overpriced Covid19 vaccines from middlemen as alleged on social media?
