With that been said, let’s get right into this article.

The unexpected spike in the number of confirmed active cases and deaths in the country as a result of the Covid19 disease has put so much fear and panic amongst Ghanaians over the past couple of weeks.

The second phase of the coronavirus disease has proven to be deadly as lots of individuals are consistently reported to have tested positive for the virus whilst others unexpectedly pass on after few days of contracting the disease.

Due to how deadly the coronavirus has become, most of the advanced countries including UK, USA, Germany, Italy and just to mention but a few have imposed several protocols including lockdown, wearing of masks, washing of hands and the use of sanitizers to help curb the spread of the virus as the most common procedure implemented by the various countries have proven to be effect against the Covid19 pandemic.

Ghana on the other hand have put all hands on deck to fight against the spread of the coronavirus disease but unexpectedly, all efforts have turn out to be futile since the lockdown ban was lifted some months ago.

Even though President Akufo-Addo has over the past couple of weeks during his address to the nation, imposed several measures to help curb the spread of the coronavirus more positive cases and deaths have been recorded as the number of active cases and deaths escalate tremendously.

Moreover, the most vulnerable individuals who are likely and have unexpectedly tested positive for the virus since the resumption of schools and lifting of the ban on lockdown are students and individuals who work in public institutions.

More than 700 students have been reported to have tested positive for the coronavirus disease in their respective institutions in the country alongside teachers and other academic staffs.

Aside the educational sector, lots of individuals who also work in public institutions have over the past couple of weeks tested positive for the coronavirus disease as the number of confirmed cases and deaths in the country keeps escalating.

Below is a look at the current confirmed Covid19 cases and deaths in the country.

In other to help fight the spread of coronavirus disease, the President must impose new and strict policies that could help keep Ghanaians alive till the vaccines are made available to infected citizens.

Below is a look at some of the restrictions that could help curb the spread of the coronavirus disease in the country if considered.

1.Advanced protocols such as social distancing, wearing of mask and others should be implemented and obeyed by citizens.

2.Individuals who do not obey the restrictions should be forced to face the consequences.

3.All schools should be closed down alongside other public institutions.

4.Final year students should continue their academic work online.

5.Public institution should work online if possible and a shift system should also be implemented.
