Danger Signs Of Your Neonate That Will Inform You To Report To The Hospital For Treatment.
When a baby is born, the first 28 days of his or her life are very crucial to the baby's survival. This period is known as the neonatal period and babies who are 0 - 28 days old are called neonates. Neonatal death accounts for 45% of pediatric deaths (children under five years) with sub-Saharan Africa recording the highest neonatal death.
After delivering, mothers should ensure that they monitor their babies well so as to identify danger signs early for treatment to be commenced. Babies do not die all of a sudden, it has an onset, and hence the ability to determine if something these danger signs early will help save the child's life.
