Hyperventilation. That is when oxygen flowing through the brain is reduced.
Vasovagal syncope. This is the most common type of fainting resulting from the sudden drop in blood pressure.
Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. POTS causes little blood to flow back to the heart after changing positions.
These are the commonly known results of fainting during or after sexual activity. There is also dehydration, stress, hunger and anxiety. All of which are temporary effects and not permanent.
