Over the past few days, they are media reports to the effect that, the AstraZeneca vaccines administered in Ghana are not approved by the UK Government and therefore not safe.
But, responding to the reports, the UK Government has stated that, such reports are untrue.
The release further stated that, stated that, the UK has approved many Vaccines including the AstraZeneca, Pfizer and the Johnson and Johnson Covid-19 vaccines for safety use.
The UK Government is further of the view that, the supply of more Covid-19 vaccines will fastrack more economic recoveries and open more International travels.
The UK Government is also working on getting Ghana a registration for COVID-19 Vaccine manufacturing.
Meanwhile, the Ghana Health Service has begun another face of vaccination of Ghanaians after receiving another concinement of Vaccine.
