All Hope Was Lost For This Hospital Until Gov't Intervened, Now See How It Had Been Transformed

Earlier this year, a video went viral on social media about a leaking roofing of a hospital in the Ashanti Region. Whilst the social media conversations ensued, the deputy Finance Minister, Hon John Ampontuah Kumah got a call from the board of the hospital confirming that the said video was the Onwe government hospital, which happens to be in his constituency.

As the Member of Parliament, Hon John Ampontuah Kumah quickly had to mobilize resources to ensure they change the roofing situation at the hospital.

"Today, I am happy to announce that we have removed all the old roof of the hospital and replaced them with a new, modern and long span roofing to ensure improved and enhanced health delivery services at the hospital. In addition, I have gotten an NGO to renovate the maternity block which is also about 90% complete. I have also lobbied for a new emergency block for the hospital scheduled to commence in January 2022" he said in a Facebook post

"I believe in a leadership of service, wealth creation and progressive development plus keeping my eyes on the ball always as I strive to serve my people" he added.
