Ghana Nurses And Midwives, GACRA, And GPAA To Go On Strike, Starting Tomorrow.

The Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association are set to embark on strike starting tomorrow morning 21st September 2020.

Sequel to the joint press release issued by Ghana Nurses and Midwives Association, Ghana Association of Certified Registered Anesthetists and Ghana Physician Assistants Association as a result of the fallout from the ongoing conditions of service negotiations with the employer.

The Associations indicated that the posture of the employer in the on-going conditions of service is complete disregard of the commitment, hard work and dedication of members of these groups.

According to these groups, the employer was given the opportunity to address the concerns raised by the team before Monday 21st September 2020 whic failed.

The employer which government is notified that all Ghana Nurses and Midwives Association, Ghana Association of Certified Registered Anesthetists and Ghana Physician Assistants Association will withdraw their services from Monday 21st September 2020.

Allgovernment and CHAG Health institutions nationawide will withdraw services from 8:00am.

They have advised the general public to seek healthcare from private health facilities across the nation while they embark this crucial exercise to demand better conditions of service for their members.

Meanwhilethe National Labour Commission has placed court injunction on it.
