The Municipal Chief Executive for Lawra, Mr. Bomba-Ire Martin on the behalf of the former member of parliament for Lawra, Mr. Anthony Abayifaa Karbo has handed over the Renovated Babile Health Centre to the Lawra Municipal Health directorate for use. He explained that the facility will improve access to healthcare delivery in the electoral area being overseen by Alex Yirikye as Assembly Man.
The 1980s school block turned Health centre has now been revived courtesy of the former Member of Parliament who doubled as Former Deputy Minister for Roads and Highways, Mr. Anthony Karbo after it was abandoned for decades putting pressure on the Babile polyclinic.
In a brief remark before handing over the keys, the Municipal Chief Executive, Mr. Martin Bomba-ire urged the directorate to really put the facility into good use.
The People of Lawra have also called for the Dikpe Bridge which is one of their major issue of Concern to be fixed.
