Benefits of Charcoal

Common charcoal is widely used mostly for cooking or making fire. Common charcoal is made from wood or coconut shells

Activated charcoal on the other hand is similar to common charcoal but not the same.

Activated charcoal is made by heating common charcoal in the presence of gas which causes the charcoal to develop internal spaces or pores which help activated charcoal chemicals. Activated charcoal is mainly made for the use as medicine.

Activated charcoal is used to treat poisonings, reduce flatulence, low cholesterol levels prevent hangovers and also treat bile flow during pregnancy.

So far some researchers do not approve talking charcoal by mouth to lower cholesterol level in blood. Also some studies agree that activated charcoal is effective in treating intestinal gas or flatulence but some studies do not approve it.

Some hangover remedies contain activated charcoal which some experts are skeptical about how well it works.

Also, many people through interviews have testified that activated charcoal and even common charcoal have helped solve some health issues for them eg. indigestion, and also treating intestinal gas.

Common charcoal also is used by many for face therapy which researchers have known it to be very useful.
