Senior World Health's official: The cause of the monkey pox outbreak is probably "sexual contact"
"The World Health Organization (WHO) is working on more guidance for countries on how to reduce the incidence of monkey pox, while concerns may increase in the summer months," said David Heiman, a senior adviser to the World Health Organization.
.The working theory of the World Health Organization based on the cases identified so far is that the outbreak of the disease is caused by sexual contact. What is happening now is that the disease is spreading like a sexually transmitted infection, a feature that has strengthened its transmission around the world.

"Monkey pox outbreaks are not like the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic because the disease is not easily transmitted," he said.
According to scientists, monkey pox outbreaks are very unusual in 11 countries where the disease is not endemic. So far, more than 100 confirmed or suspected cases have been reported, most of them in Europe
