Diabetes is a condition that impairs the body’s ability to process blood glucose, otherwise known as blood sugar. Most times, people with this ailment have no idea what to eat and what to stay away from.

1.Fatty fish and seafood

Banku consumption by diabetic persons should be closely monitored because it has high Glycemic Index. The reason given for the Banku high GI is the combination of the cassava dough and maize.
