Heart disease symptoms vary depending on the form and severity of the disease as well as individual conditions. Symptoms may appear on their own or in conjunction with other heart problems. Heart pain is a well-known symptom of heart disease, but it is not the only cause of chest pain. All Ghanaians should pay attention to these symptoms.

Furthermore, not everyone with heart attack has chest pain. Many people may have a heart attack without feeling any pain in their chest. Symptoms of heart disease may be confusing, mild, or aggressive. Among the signs and symptoms are:

Mild and transient shortness of breath with exertion.

Mild weakness and feeling lightheaded.

Poor weight gain and difficulty feeding in infants.

Erectile dysfunction.

A Fatigue.

Vomiting and nausea .

Pale skin without or with sweating.

Wet cough.

Numbness, pain and mild swelling in the feet and ankles

Feeling of indigestion.

Restlessness and anxiety.

A backache.
