The member of parliament for the North Tongu constituency in the Volta region ; Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has built a new medical theatre at the Tagadzi Polyclinic in his constituency and about a month ago while taking delivery of medical equipments and supplies he ordered from abroad , he promised that he will be giving out the remaining equipments should there be any surplus.
On Monday the 26th of September, 2022 , the Member of Parliament announced on his social media platforms that , he has fulfilled the promise he made by donating the equipments to the Ho Teaching Hospital and the Volta Regional Health Directorate.
The Regional health directorate shall also be redistributing the equipments received based on a scientific criteria ; the MP said.
Being the first referral centre for complex cases, the MP was delighted to have donated the equipments to Ho Teaching Hospital as it will help in managing complex cases and improve the quality of healthcare delivery at the facility.
The team took time to interact with some patients and health workers after the donation.
