Potency of COVID-19 Vaccines In Question

The Ghana Medical Association (GMA) has found the contents of a said petition by some doctors who are questioning the potency of the COVID-19 vaccines as "misleading, unfortunate, and not based on available local and international scientific data".

Following some reports misconstruing the viability of the Covid 19 vaccines being used Nationwide for vaccination exercise , it has further raised concern among the Ghana Medical Association who have rallied solidly behind the vaccine and claim that the vaccine is good enough and has alleviated massive deaths since it's inception rather than harm to it's recipients.

Doctor Frank Serebour, the President for the Ghana Medical Association in his statement disassociated himself from the comments made by the Concerned Ghanaian Doctors without any available data or prove and which calls for a cessation in the nationwide Covid 19 vaccination

"As doctors, we should be a little hesitant when speaking against vaccine if not it would go beyond COVID vaccines towards polio, measles among others which will not help" Dr Serebour asserted.

Such a call from the Concerned Ghanaian Doctors could cause the citizens to refuse the vaccination an exercise that safeguards them from any severity and attacks as well as deaths in the country.

The COVID 19 vaccines has become a panacea to Ghana's fight for this global pandemic as well as in Western countries like France, United Kingdom, United States of America etc reducing drastically the vastnumber on COVID 19 fatalities earlier on.

The vaccines has played an instrumental role so far as the deadly global pandemic is concerned and as the case stands globally the fear and panic among people has gone down entirely.

Ghana without the vaccines could have derailed the nation's development by jeopardizing the health of the people across the 16 regions today but the more country vaccinate against the disease the better.
