N/R: Yendi Municipal Hospital Insisted On Compulsory Wearing Of Nose Masks Before Entering.

The Yendi municipal hospital in the Northern region has insisted on the compulsory wearing of Nose masks by all persons who have to enter the hospital.

The security men at the gate/entrance of the hospital have ensure that anyone who enters the hospital must have a nose mask whether the person is a passenger or patient to adhere to the Corona virus protocols.

Accoding to the the security personnels, the rate at which the Corona virus is increasing in the region is so alarming and the best measures to put in place to curb high rate of the virus is to implement compulsory wearing of mask in our vicinities.

The reason behind this compulsory wearing of the nose mask is as a result of what happened at the Savelugu district hospital where most of the staff were affected with the Corona virus.

Several people have returned home since they were not having this protective devices.

Today, Monday 8th March 2021, most people were prevented from entering until they scure a nose mask.
