If you don't drink enough water you may become dehydrated. Dehydration means your body doesn't have enough fluid to operate properly. And the indication of this condition is a colour change in your urine.
If it's colourless or light yellow, you're well hydrated. If your urine is a dark yellow or amber colour, you may be dehydrated, and you need this one simple trick...
Before that, let us look at other signs that can signal that you may be dehydrated:
1) Little or no urine.
2) Urine that is darker than usual.
3) Dry mouth.
4) Sleepiness or fatigue.
5) Extreme thirst.
8) Dizziness or lightheadedness.
9) No tears when crying.
FACT: Older adults are MOSTLY at higher risk. Since when you get older, your brain may not be able to sense dehydration. It thus doesn’t send signals for thirst.
Water makes up more than half of your body weight. You lose water each day when you go to the bathroom, sweat, and even when you breathe. You lose water even faster when the weather is really hot when you’re physically active, or if you have a fever. Vomiting and diarrhoea can also lead to rapid water loss.
The one simple trick is that always be sure to actively drink plenty of water to avoid becoming dehydrated. At least 10 bottles of voltic's 750mL water bottle.
