I Don't have any Image in this country anymore- Health Minister narrates his story in Parliament

The Minister of Health Kwaku Agyeman Manu has made several statements in Parliament that has drawn the attention of most Ghanaians. According to him, people have lambasted him to the extent that, he has no image in the country.

This comes after the Member of Parliament for Juaboso, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh said to the effect that the government had failed to meet its own target in vaccinating Ghanaians.. According to him, government should have vaccinated over 17 million Ghanaians but as at now the government has vaccinated only 2.5 million citizens.

The minister of Finance in his defense said while he was in a haste in searching for vaccines, his own colleagues in Parliament were lambasting him for not coming to Parliament to seek approval.

"When I was rushing to get the vaccines to do vaccination very quickly to meet our Covid target, I was called culpable of not having come to Parliament and I have been lambasted to the extent that now, I don’t have any image in this country, by your own colleagues in the chambers. Now you stand up and tell me that our vaccinations have been very slow.” He angrily said.

He later added that, due to this, he has been lambasted and now he has no image in this country.
