The first batch of the COVID-19 Vaccines was received by the country is the 27th February,2021 as it was noticed by the president of the Republic on his 23rd address to the Nation. The president in his 24 address made it clear that the vaccination will be ready for deployment on the 2nd day of March in this year. He also made himself available and took the first jab of the vaccine together with his vice on 1st March.
The deployment started on 2nd March as he stated. The eminent and high officials of the state started getting vaccinated in order to remove the fear developed in the public about the side effects of the vaccine. The speaker of Parliament, the King of Ashanti Kingdom and many eminent took the vaccine so people in the first group as stated by the president.
The people who have taken a jab have shared a side effect of the vaccine. According to them, there are no serious side effects after getting vaccinated. It just a minor fever, headache and little stress feeling. They further urged those being doubtful in taking the vaccine to not fear and take the vaccine in a good heart
