Anyone Who Refuses To Wear Nose Mask In Public Should Be Fined 5,000 Cedis When Caught

The rate at which the coronavirus is spreading is very dangerous, the new variant of the virus has make the second wave of the pandemic is becoming uncontrollable. The outbreak of the covid-19 disease is killing a lot of people from this world, the first outbreak of the covid-19 virus started in China and it is spreading throughout the whole world. The Ghana health service has been reporting the number of cases recorded on the covid-19 disease, and the figures reported everyday is alarming, not less than 600 cases are recorded everyday.

Recently, the number of recorded active cases, that is persons with the virus, was in decline, with the statistics pointing to the fact that the people were on the path towards defeating the virus, but it seems we are wrong, In recent weeks,however, we have observed a gradual change in the trajectory of the virus, with an increase in active cases.

The increase in the spread of the virus has been Identified as the way people are not adhering to the covid-19 safety protocols, in one of the president's Nations address he said the wearing of the nose mask is compulsory and anyone who fails to wear it should be arrested and punished. The number of persons dead out of covid-19 disease is increasing everyday because of people violating the covid-19 protocols especially the wearing of nose mask.

In order to enforce the wearing of the nose mask and other covid-19 safety protocols, I suggest the president should pass a law to fine anyone who fails to wear the the nose mask an amount of 5,000 cedis when caught in public. This will enforce people to wear the nose mask and follow all the covid-19 safety protocols.
