The most common cause of stomach ulcers is the bacterium called Helicobacter pylori. In this particular write-up, we shall look at some natural remedies which may help manage stomach ulcers. The following are some examples according to health experts.

Yogurt. Most yogurts contain active cultures (lactobacillus and bifidobacterium) that might help digestion. When taken alongside other treatments, these yogurts may help eradicate harmful bacteria.

Cruciferous vegetables. These include; broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, and kale. All these vegetables contain sulforaphane, a chemical that seems to squelch H. pylori. In one study, after patients that tested positive for the bacteria ate a half cup of broccoli sprouts twice daily for seven days, 78% tested negative for bacteria.

Eating a cup of broccoli, steamed or, raw will not only combat your ulcers but will provide additional vitamin C.

Cabbage. Cabbage has astonishing ulcer healing abilities. It contains vitamin C shown to help prevent and treat H. pylori infections. Try eating two cups of raw cabbage daily or make a super potent juice or cut the cabbage, boil it in water for a few minutes, cool it until it is just warm, and drain the water into a cup and drink.

You can also mix fresh cabbage juice with fresh raspberry juice. The mixture helps soothe and heal ulcers. You can take it two times a day. For an optimal ulcer cure, choose fresh green cabbage.

Aloe Vera juice. Aloe Vera juice has positive effects on the inflamed stomach lining. Drink a few sips before each meal and before sleep. This juice will relieve ulcer pain and promote healing.
