Lung Cancer Is Deadly, Avoid Doing These 4 Things To Prevent Being A Victim.

According to "Everyday Health", Something that makes someone more likely to get an illness like cancer is called a risk factor. The risk factors for different types of cancers are different. Some risk factors, such as smoking, can be changed. Many of these things, like a person's age or family history, aren't going to change. However, even if you have one or more risk factors, it doesn't mean that you will get the condition. Several people who have the condition also don't have a lot of known risk factors for it.

A lot of things can make you more likely to get lung cancer. If you have these things, you're more likely to get lung cancer in general. This is a list of things that may or may not work for people with small cell lung cancer (SCLC). Below are some of the things everyone should think about when it comes to lung cancer.

1. Smoke.

Tobacco use is the main cause of lung cancer in the world. Around 7 out of 10 people who get lung cancer because they smoke are killed by it. This is when you get cigarette smoke from someone else.

Even light or occasional smoking can raise the risk of lung cancer. However, the more you smoke and the longer you smoke, the more likely you are to get sick. It is the best thing you can do for your health if you don't smoke. As soon as you stop moving, the better.

2. Drinking water that has a lot of arsenic in it.

People who drink water with a lot of arsenic have been linked to lung cancer in studies. Most people who use public water don't get a lot of arsenic from drinking water. Arsenic has also been linked to skin cancer, bladder cancer, and lung cancer in people who drink water with arsenic concentrations of at least a few hundred micrograms per liter (g/L) or more. To avoid this, drink only pure water.

3. Being in contact with toxic gas at work.

People who breathe in chemicals or minerals like asbestos, arsenic, chromium, nickel, soot, or tar can have a higher chance of getting lung cancer over time. Those who work in certain industrial and mining jobs may be exposed to these substances at higher levels. Diesel exhaust and air pollution can also be dangerous. This is why you should be careful when you drive.

4 Eating a bad diet.

If you eat certain foods, you may be more likely to get lung cancer. People who smoke and take beta carotene supplements, for example, have a higher risk of lung cancer, says a study. People who eat a lot of alcohol or red meat may be more likely to get lung cancer, some studies say. However, more study is needed.
