It was not long ago when the nation's first batch of the coronavirus disease 2019 vaccine arrived at the Kotoka international airport. This brought good news as the citizens were filled with fear as the number of active cases of the coronavirus pandemic was on the increase. People were filled with fear as there might be another lockdown, parents were terrified as it was not long when schools re-opened. Also the attention of citizens has been shifted on the vaccines.
From the daily update by the Ghana health service on their official website points to it that the number of active cases for coronavirus is on the decreasing state. That is day in and day out the numbers are decreasing which is another good news despite the arrival of the coronavirus vaccine in the nation.
The number of active cases now stays at 1,574 which is much better than what we experienced earlier this year. The number of recovery is also encouraging. We urge all to abide by the protocols as the fight is not yet over
