The Government Of Ghana Should Halt The Use Of Covid-19 Vaccine In The Country For Some Time (Opinion)
Ghana have suffered alot since the outbreak of the covid-19 pandemic started in China and crossed the borders of the country, many restrictions have been imposed on our daily activities which has negatively affected the people of the country. Ghana part of the few countries who were applauded for managing the disease very well, but the second wave of the virus extremely increased the number of cases recorded after the 2020 general elections.
Scientists and health professionals are trying their their best to save the world, medical experts have come out with a covid-19 vaccine to help find solution to the problem at hand, not long ago Ghana recieved samples of the covid-19 vaccines for free.
The vaccines was from the UN-partnered COVAX initiative India, the government have already made distribution of the vaccine across the country, several African countries have suspended the use of the AstraZeneca over fears the shot may have caused some recipients to develop blood clots.
There have been several cases from other countries on blood clots which occurred after recipients have been injected with the covid-19 vaccine, I suggest the government of should put a stop to the use of covid-19 Vaccines for some time because it's Killing alot of people in some countries, there must be further testing to avoid different health complications and death.
Is it save to use the covid-19 vaccine in Ghana?
