The Health Minister has made a confession before the committee set by parliament to probe into the circumstances surrounding the procurement of the COVID 19 vaccines to Ghana.
The setting up of the committee to probe was ignited by the minority in parliament.
The setting up of the committee became obvious as word broke out from an international investigation that the Vaccine was supposed to be sold and bought at a unit price of ten dollars instead of nineteen dollars according to this ARTICLE on BLEWUTV.COM . The minister, however; explained in his own words that "he was not thinking well" at the time due to COVID 19 emergency. See VIDEO here.
Parliamentarians, including Ghanaians and other citizens of other countries became so curious to know about how things were done.
3.4 million doses of the coronavirus vaccine was supposed to be procured at a unit price of nineteen dollars after he has negotiated from twenty five dollars. Surprisingly, the Vaccine was supposed to cost ten dollars per unit.
After these revelations, many took to social media and other sites to record their thoughts. You can view them below.
Do you think that the minister took the right decision after explaining that he did it to save Ghanaians?
