The Voltarians would always take a joke of the Ashsntis very seriously and would always complain about it. This happens both in real life activities and social media post.
According to a video spotted on Facebook social today, a Voltarian patients warns an Ashanti nurse not to speak Twi in sogakope.
Sogakope is one of the popular towns in Volta Region and most of the inhabitants understand only the Ewe language and sometimes English.
In the video, the patient condemned the nurse for speaking Twi at the hospital, the female patient asked the nurse to speak English if she couldn’t speak the Ewe language. But the nurse replied it’s only Twi she can speak and this led to the argument.
