This way you will avoid adding extra calories to your day and resultant lose weight.”

Ingredients


1. 2 cups filtered water.

2. 15 fresh peppermint leaves.

3. 1 to 2 teaspoons sugar or honey(optional)

4. Lemon slices(optional).

5. Fresh lemon juice(optional).

6. 1 cup ice(optional).

Preparation

1. Bring the water to a boil.


2. Remove from the heat and add the fresh mint leaves. Steep for 3 to 5 minutes, depending on desired strength.


3. Add optional sweetener. Start with 1 teaspoon per cup and add more as desired.


4. If serving iced, fill tall glasses with ice and pour the tea over. If serving hot, pour the tea into mugs. Garnish with optional lemon slices and/or lemon juice to taste.


5. Drink immediately.
