Many people have made it a point not to go for the COVID-19 vaccine. Some of them feel there is no need to take the vaccine and when asked, they claim if the virus would have attacked them, it would have done it a long time ago. For others, they fear the likely side effects which might happen in the near future. Tell them these vaccines have been tried and tested, and see them shake their heads in disbelief.
The Director-General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Patrick Kumah Aboagye, made a revelation about the fate of those who do not want to take the vaccine. Looking at his words, I have been convinced people will get to take it as time goes on.
In a media encounter at the conference hall of the Information Ministry, he disclosed to Ghanaians the measures they are going to put in place in the upcoming year about the corona virus.
He claims that, according to the Ghana Health Service, starting January 2022, you will have to show proof of vaccination before eating at a restaurant, going to a nightclub, swimming at the beach, attending church or school.
I am pretty sure many people after seeing these conditions would have no option but to go in for the vaccine. You can ignore going to a restaurant, swimming at the beach or going to a nightclub but, I assure you that there's no way you are going to quit schooling or religion just because of a vaccine.
