Government considering plans to come up with protocol for booster vaccines.

Official Advisor on Health, Dr Anthony Nsiah-Asare has uncovered that a gathering is at present continuous to concoct a convention for sponsor portions to handle the infection.


He made the disclosure on 3FM's First Take with Dzifa Bampoh on Tuesday January 4.


"We are having a gathering to think of a convention for promoter portions. This will be declared in due time," he said.


He emphasized the public authority's journey to vaccinate no less than twenty million individuals.


"We need to immunize no less than 20 million individuals. The public authority will get bunches of immunizations for individuals," he said.


In the mean time, a mandate to refuse people without antibody card from getting to government structures has started today, Tuesday January 4 2021.


The Ghana Health Service (GHS) pronounced the period of December last year as the immunization month.


Chief General at the GHS, Dr Patrick Kumah-Aboagye talking at a question and answer session in Accra on Sunday November 28 2021 said immunization was the surest method for managing the infection.


He further guaranteed that the specialists will increase observation measures at the Kotoka International Airport during the Christmas season to guarantee that Covid diseases don't increment.


He further said that the errors that were made in December last year which occasioned the acceleration of diseases in January this year, won't be rehashed.


There will be a "severe implementation of the conventions at the KIA. We will build observation. We are anticipating that increased number of people should show up in the country.


"we will guarantee that our strategies are ready, we can proceed with our surveilance to check out that, we will see disconnection focuses," he said.


He added "Our contact following will be reinforced.
