In Africa, Malaria is the prevalent sickness that is very common. It is disease caused by a plasmodium parasite which is transmitted through the bite of infected mosquitoes.
The severity of malaria is based on the species of plasmodium. Malaria can affect anybody who comes into contact with the infected mosquito.
Many pregnant women are at a high risk than those women who are not pregnant. When a pregnant woman is infected, it causes serious complications such as premature birth, stillbirth or miscarriage.
When the baby is born, he or she needs serious protection against anything that would cause harm especially the weather. In this case, the baby must be covered properly and kept warm. It is not every baby clothes that is suitable or appropriate considering the weather especially in cold season. The baby must always wear a hat and socks which is very important to avoid flu or catarrh.
Now lets talk about the baby's bed. New borns have their own crib or a bed with a mosquito net. Some are carried along as a bag whilst others are different. The baby bed that has a net is very essential for babies to prevent malaria. They come in different colours such as pink, blue and others.
