Covid 19 is a deadly disease that has killed billions of people across the globe. It is also a large family of viruses that's are known to cause illness ranging from common cold to severe diseases such as Middle East and Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). Most people in Ghana believe that the virus does not exist some also have some rumours about the fact of the virus. But the fact comes from World Health Organisation African Region. They correct the common untrue rumours about the corona virus pandemic such as Hydrochloroguine hasn't been proven to cure or treatment for covid 19 but current data shows that they do not reduce death from covid 19 people with moderate illness but rather treatment of malaria and autoimmune diseases. However, using them for other diseases or without medical supervision can have a serious side effect on patients and should be avoided. Eating of hot Peppers will not cure covid 19 pandemic as most Ghanaians believe that fact but rather pepper may be tasty, can't prevent nor cure the covid. The use of violent lamps shouldn't be used to cure or prevent the pandemic. U'v lamps should not be used to disinfect the skin or hands. Thay can irritate the skin or hands which may cause damage to the eyes. Cleaning the hands with alcohol based hand sanitizer or soap under running water is the most effective way to prevent covid 19.
The use of pneumonia vaccine do not prevent covid. The covid 19 pandemic is so new and different which needs its own special vaccine. Existing vaccine are highly recommended for its own virus not covid but however to protect your health from pneumonia. The use of vitamin and minerals supplements won't cure covid 19. Zinc vitamins D and C and other supplements won't cure covid 19 but they are important for well functioning immune system and overall health. Eating of garlic doesn't prevent covid 19. Garlic is a healthy food that may kill some microbes, but there is no evidence that proves that it cures the disease. The best way to protect ourselves from covid is to keep a safe distance from people and frequently use of alcohol based hand sanitizer and frequently wash the hands under running water and soap. Older people aren't the only one at risk from covid 19. People of all ages can be infected by the covid 19 virus. People who are 60 over and those with conditions such as asthma, diabetes, heart disease are at risk of becoming severely ill when they are exposed to this covid 19 pandemic.
