The fight against the novel corona virus in Ghana is still ongoing, and though the current infection rate appears to be reducing, the deaths still continue.
The Ghana health Service in their latest covid-19 update, has reported 455 new cases and six new deaths, bringing Ghana’s total recorded cases to 82,586, 76,573 recoveries, 5,419 active cases and 594 deaths.
With the regional distribution, Greater still lead in total cases, follow by Ashanti and Western Region.
Below are the cumulative corona virus cases per the Regions in Ghana:
The Greater Accra Region tops with 47,029 cases; Ashanti Region has 14,324 cases, and Western Region, being the third on the list has records 5,143 cases.
The rest are the Eastern Region 3,668, Central Region 2, 884, Volta Region 1,692 cases, Northern Region has 1,155 recorded cases, Bono East Region recorded 1,114 and the Upper East Region also having 1,093 recorded corona virus cases.
The remaining regions are the Bono Region 982, Western North Region 797, Ahafo Region 663, Upper West Region 377, Oti Region 274, North East Region 98 and the last on the list; Savannah Region with 72 recorded cases.
