Nursing is one of the noblest profession in the wide world due to how they contribute to the health needs of a country.

Not long ago, nurses and midwives in Ghana teamed up to demonstrate against the government for poor condition of services. This demonstration was well felt in the health sector as many patients were not well catered for thus leading to their death.

As a way of curbing the situation down, the Labour commission called off the strike and asked the mother association of nurses GRMNA to come to the negotiation table for talks concerning the condition of services.

Latest news have it that, their wish has been granted.

A letter issued out has stated that from this October, all nurses and midwives are to receive 8% increment.
