If you are suffering from a disease called anaemia and you are looking for ways to treat it at home due to financial constraints and other personal reasons, read this article. Before I show you how to treat anaemia with cassava leaves, you will have to know what anaemia itself is.
Anaemia is a condition in which there is a deficiency of red cells or of haemoglobin in the blood, resulting in pallor and weakness.
The most common causes of anaemia include nutritional deficiencies, particularly iron deficiency, though deficiencies in folate, vitamins B12 and A are also important causes, haemoglobinopathies, and infectious diseases, such as malaria, tuberculosis, HIV and parasitic infections.
Symptoms of anaemia are dizziness, fatigue, light headedness and malaise. Others are fast heart rate or palpitations, brittle nails, headache, pale skin and shortness of breath.
