In the midst of the hullabaloo and agitations in the country, some Ghanaians still manage to create avenues for us to smile or laugh no matter how bad or dire our circumstance may be.
It was not too long ago when the president of the country, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo ‘frequented’ our homes to regularly update us on the state of the country’s Covid-19 fight and remind us on the best ways to protect ourselves against contracting the virus. He equally informed the nation on the specific measures that had been taken to help stop the spread.
One of the things which was common with the updates were the setting and the background at the Flagstaff House which was used for these broadcasts. This was often decorated with some Adinkra symbols and of course the national flag and presidential seal.
We came across some pictures of a cute and chubby little boy who had been dressed to look like the president during those times of regular updates. The attention to detail in designing the set to look almost exactly like the real one is highly impressive.
It is however not too clear whether this was done at a school or some parents who decided to have some fun at home with their children.
Another interesting thing in the boy’s apparel was his circular spectacle which looks very similar to the iconic one the president wears.
Enjoy the pictures.
