Prostate cancers can be prevented and controlled by following these steps

The prostate is a gland between the bladder and penis..then the urethra runs through the centre of the prostate from the bladder to the penis..letting urine flow out of the body. Prostate enlargement in a simple term is a condition by which the prostate gland increases in size. Also, know as Benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH)


  1. masturbation
  2. Elderly age
  3. Taking cold drinks
  4. Delaying or holding urine
  5. Early sexual intercourse
  6. Men with more than one wife.

Common symptoms of Prostate enlargement

  1. Frequent or urgent need to urinate
  2. Increase frequency of urination
  3. Reduce sexual performance
  4. Difficulty starting urination
  5. Weak urine stream or a stream that stops and starts.
  6. Dribbling at the end of urination
  7. Inability to empty the bladder.
  8. Sudden inability to urinate.
  9. Discomfort during intercourse
  10. Impotence: difficult in having an erection.
  11. Decrease in semen ejaculated during sex.

Men aged 30yrs and above are at high risk but together we can save these men when we give them the necessary education they may need.
