On Tuesday, 28th of June, 2022, Ghanaian decided to protest against the high inflation in the country. Demonstration turns to a very big riot between the protestors and the Police.As captured by Ghanaweb TV, Police officers were running for lives due to the violence of the protestors. Protestors were throwing stones and pure water at the Police officers who were in a Vehicle trying to stop the protestors from the the demonstration. According to a statement from the administration of the service, the demonstrators pelted its officers with stones at the Obra Spot at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle, where the demonstrators had converged for the protest.Twelve(12) officers were hurt during the violence of the protestors.In the ensuing melee, some police officers suffered various degrees of injuries leaving some police vehicles vandalised. Ghanaian blaming the government under Nana Akuffo Addo for the cause of the this violence at the Kwame Nkrumah circle today.
