In a Facebook post, Efia Odo bemoaned the state of insecurity in the country saying that life does not seem worth living anymore following the current state of the country. She said that she is now emotionally vulnerable and feels like quitting the Fixthecountry campaign once and for all and be free. She said this is the saddest moment in her life but she doesn't want to give up so that her enemies will win.
She indicated that since she has started the course she will definitely delivery victory at the end of the campaign.
"This life doesn’t seem to be worth living anymore. My people wake up to suffer everyday for what? Ghanafuo ebr3!!!! I’ve never been this emotionally vulnerable. This is the saddest I’ve been in my entire life but I don’t want to give up, I don’t want the enemy to win" she wrote.
Kaaka Mohammed was a staunch social activist who championed in the Fixthecountry campaign but met his untimely death after he was mobbed and beaten till death. Kaaka Mohammed was tortured, bruised and beaten by some unknown body guards alleged to be related to the Municipal Chief Executive of Ejura Sekyereduma for making the new patriotic government unpopular.
Efia Odo upon hearing this news felt for her life too. She doesn't know what has been planned against her because what has happened to her colleague can equally happen to her.
