Sam Dzata George, Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram has been in the news recently for his severe anti-gay rants. In there, he defends why the act shouldn’t be tolerated and those who fall victims should be imprisoned. He even had a bone to pick with Ghana’s biggest social media content creators, Kwadwo Sheldon, and Sister Derby.
However, today on Good Evening Ghana with Paul Adom Otchere, Sam Dzata George elaborated on his position. This time around, his presentations were detailed and made sense. The large population who has always been against the act showered some good praises on the Member of Parliament for talking for them.
“30 years ago, homosexuality was among mental diseases like Schizophrenia, but it was removed from mental to normalcy because of political votes and not scientific research/findings. So, what happened?” he yelled. He further added that “nobody can force his culture or act on Ghana, we are a sovereign country and a minority group like homosexuals can’t bully us.”
On the show, Sam George lambasted the act and used science to defend his point. He ridiculed all their arguments and even called the USA embassy to Ghana to order. Indeed, his anger is beyond rants as he has decided to go the extra mile to make Homosexuality a crime in Ghana.
Well, his rants were quite commendable considering the scientific details and research of his argument. This made many Ghanaians declared their love and faith in him. Some wrote:
We dey your back
Hon. Sam George nie! You are a hero! Keep it up! Praying for you!
Courageous Sam George! I stand with him. May God give him the strength to carry this crusade through.
