The popularly known Ghanaian lawyer and National communications director of the largest opposition party, NDC has recently sparked massive stir, debates and arguments across all social media platforms after he boldly sent another strong message to the Supreme Court of Ghana

Whilst sharing his opinion and thoughts on the alarming issue of the Supreme Court dragging Bolgatanga East Member of parliament, Dr Dominic Ayine to the legal council over ‘disparaging’ comments about the judiciary, Sammy Gyamfi made it clear that every institution regulated by democracy was subject to criticism and scrutiny.

Sammy Gyamfi highlighted that, the judiciary had no right to suppress and victimize the opinions of prominent government officials and politicians who would find the privilege to share their respective concerns about certain judicial matters in the country.

In conclusion, Sammy Gyamfi made it clear that, all plans laid out by the judiciary to suppress dissent and victimize critical voices in the country under the incumbent government will be fiercely resisted.

”In a democracy, every institution is subject to institution is subject to scrutiny and criticism, and the judiciary to suppress dissent and victimize critical voices will be fiercely resisted”, Sammy Gyamfi emphatically stated.
