Yesterday, the Accra high court ruled in favor of Tyrone and Oheneba Kwaku to be admitted by Achimota school. Hours after the ruling, many people have shared their opinions about the court's decision to allow them to go back to school with their Rasta hair. Many people thought the teenagers would be in classrooms today, but they rather appeared on Angel Fm this morning.
Kofi Adoma asked the father of Tyrone how many years he had lived with his Rasta. He replied that, he has lived with his hairstyle for almost 30 years. According to the father of Tyrone, the public should not judge a person by his looks. He added that, during Tyrone days at Junior high school, Tyrone used to secretly prompted his teacher's when they made mistakes in their presentation.
This suggests that, regardless of his outward appearance, Tyrone is a good student who must be allowed to study.
Kofi Adoma Nwanwanii posed a question to Tyrone's father, asking for his thoughts on the public's reaction to the court's decision. He responded that people should be free to do whatever they want because God is the only one who can judge them.
