LGBTQI+ has been the debate in the country for the past weeks. It has created a lot of controversies in parliament and across various media platforms on whether Ghana should accept it or abort it.
Below is the meaning of LGBTQI+

The letter T
The letter 'T' stands for Transgender. This is where persons change their sex or gender identity. It takes medical experts to make this happen.
The letter I
This means intersex . Here people are born with physical or biological sex characteristics such as reproductive or sexual anatomy, hormones or chromosomes that do not seem to fit the typical definitions of female or male.
The letter Q
The letter 'Q' refers to Queer. This is for sexual and gender minorities who are not heterosexual or are not cisgender (person whose sense of personal identity and gender corresponds with their birth sex)

As at now, it is an abomination to practice this in Ghana. Government is yet to debate on an anti-LGBTQI+ bill whether to make it a law or not.
