A 19 years old boy who is an armed robber Called Bawa Ibrahim has been handed 63 years jail sentence by His Lordship Justice Alexander Graham at the Techiman Circuit Court. This gives a clear justice to Four SHS Girls who were the victims.
The sentence of the accused was worsened from 30 to additional 33 over what he tried doing at the crime scene to the victims (SHS Girls) from the Akumfi Ameyaw SHS in Techiman.
According to one of the girls who spoke to Joynews, the young man entered their room with a pair of scissors and demander their valuables. After taking their phones, money and jewelleries, he started touching them one after the other and attempted to rape them all.
The girls who insisted the act boldly pounced on him. In the struggle, he inflicted scissor sounds on most of them and escaped. After a police report, he was later arrested while riding his Okada bike in town.
" The court in his own wisdom gave him three years for unlawful entry, thirsty years for robbery and additional thirty years for attempted rape. The sentence is to run concurrently" Police Inspector Gyabaa Agyemang told the media. Check out how Joynews captured the news.
