The Fulani herdsmen protested against residents of Sabunjara in the Nanumba North of Bimbilla municipal in the Northern Region for alleging them as the perpetrators of every robbery cases in the region.
This followed an attack on some residents on the road on Friday evening 21st of May, 2021 when their money and a motorbike was seized.
Today, Monday 24th of May 2021, the Fulani herdsmen protested against the claim and said the people have painted them black with misrepresentation by accusing them to be those behind every robbery attack.
They therefore expressed their disgust and revulsion to the people of Sabunjara to know that they are not bad people as they have always been stereotyped by the community members.
"We are also human beings like others and are not as bad as people always say and tell lies about us. Though there are few among us who may be criminals just like any other tribes but not all of us are robbers".
They pledged to the residents to stop misleading their tribe as they demand equal rights and justice.
