FixTheCountry Demonstration was set to have happened today May, 9, 2021 but due to a restrain by the Ghana Police Service on the grounds that, ban on public gatherings are not lifted, nothing of such will be allowed in the country since it could lead to the massive spread of the deadly Coronavirus pandemic which hit us in the early months of last year, 2020.
This however didn’t go down well with the conveners of the FixTheCountry demonstration as they called on their lawyers to fight for their right but unfortunate for them, the Supreme Court of the nation have set June, 7th as the day of their case hearing.
Thought this will stop conveners including Ghanaian actress and socialite, Efia Odo but it obviously not as she has been captured in a number of photos holding a protest board with writings on it calling on the Ghana government to #FixTheCountry.
She was seen standing by a dirty gutter that has been filled with all kinda of filth by citizens as a result of luck of bin.
“Dumsor, Roads, Healthcare, Sanitation, unemployment, Galamsey l, were the key points written on the protest board to draw the attending of the government.
See the said photos below..
