Ghanaian lawyer and the founder of Danquah Institute, Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko has posed a question to Ghanaians on Ghana's land boarders.
The president of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo in 2020 closed the boarders due to the rise in covid19 cases. President Akufo-Addo in his updates lifted some of the restrictions while the land boarders still remain closed.
Ghanaians especially traders who travels by land to the neighboring countries for items has been calling on the government to open the land boarders.
Lawyer Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko has taken to social media to take the public opinion on the closure of the land boarders.
He asked whether the land boarders should officially remain closed or it is time for them to be opened. He also asked for the restrictions if the land boarders are officially opened.
Should our land borders remain officially closed or it is time to open them? If so with what restrictions, if any?," he stated.
