The Director of Legal Affairs for the NDC, Abraham Amaliba, has said that the committee set up by the minister of interior to probe the killings at Ejura needs to refocus their questioning to encourage the family of Kaaka to rescind their decision not to appear before the committee.
Abraham Amaliba made this statement on the 'New Day' program on TV3 today when he gave his opinion on the Ejura committee hearing.
According to Abraham Amaliba, The family of Kaaka is disgruntled by what they are seeing at the committee's hearing.
"I think it is important for the committee to refocus their questioning if they want to get the buy-in of the family of Kaaka."
He advised the chair of the committee to meet with the family of Kaaka and assure them so that they can rescind their decision not to appear before the committee.
